CfMM welcomed a fantastic panel of media and security experts, to discuss the findings of our latest report.

Why are attacks by “Muslims” more readily described as “terrorism”?
Why are White Supremacists more likely to be called “lone wolves”?
How can the media be more consistent?

Chaired by C4 News Presenter Jon Snow, the panellists were CfMM Director Rizwana Hamid, Director, report author Faisal Hanif (CfMM), Rohit Kachroo (ITV Security Editor), Frank Gardner (BBC Security Correspondent), Lizzie Dearden (The Independent Home Affairs and Security Correspondent), Dr Jessica White (RUSI Research Fellow in Terrorism and Conflict), and Prof. Paul Spoonley (Massey University, New Zealand).

Yasmin Qureshi MP (APPG Religion in the Media) and Alexander Gent, National Association of Muslim Police Chair also contributed.
